So what does Groundhog Day have to do with Electricity or HVAC? Well, nothing really, but since today is Groundhog day, I thought I would mention it. Actually, though, when you have the same electrical or HVAC problems over and over again, it can sure seem like Groundhog Day. If you’ve ever seen the movie starring Bill Murray, it was about a cynical television weatherman covering the annual Groundhog Day event in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania. The guy becomes trapped in a time loop forcing him to relive February 2 repeatedly. It’s a funny movie in an uncomfortable sort of way. Speaking of uncomfortable, if your furnace quits on you in the dead of winter you will be mighty uncomfortable. Possibly you have been trying to fix it yourself in order to avoid paying a professional, but it starts to feel like Groundhog Day when you experience the same problem over and over again and it never stays fixed.
